One of the drives in everest.sosdg.org failed Wednesday. Although we have been able to recover the data, we decided to push forward with bringing on new servers that were already being built, rather than risk another failure and data loss. Needless to say, this couldn't have happened at a worse time, but we're dealing with it, and making the best of it.
As we move into the new servers, we are going ahead with the design plans for those servers - some of which radically depart from that which we had on everest. There are some serious growing pains, as over the years we accumulated a lot of baggage from having everything on one machine.
We are working to restore all services, please bear with us as we do so.
